2009-10 Membership Drive

One of the largest neighborhood associations in Wauwatosa, the challenge of connecting with residents requires the commitment of our neighbors. Approximately 300 of the 2300 households became members of TETNA in 2008. If you haven’t become a member before, please consider contributing to your neighborhood this year.

Along with canned and dry foods, they collect school supplies and are starting a warm-clothing drive.

Even if you are not registering for Halloween, consider dropping off a donation. Registration times are Tuesday, Oct. 21, 6:30 to 8:00pm; Thursday, Oct. 23, 6:30 to 8:00pm; and Saturday, Oct. 25, 8:30 to 10am.

Volunteer Descriptions and Needs

TETNA is a volunteer-run non-profit organization. It wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for people like you who are willing to offer their talents and time.

A variety of volunteer options are available to provide you the opportunity to become an active part of the Tosa East Towne neighborhood. Many require little of your time, but make a big difference in the quality of life in your neighborhood.

2008-09 Membership Drive

Beginning in 1994, a group of conscientious neighbors surveyed area residents concerning an interest in the formation of a neighborhood association. Thirteen years later, the Tosa East Towne Neighborhood Association (TETNA) continues to be a strong community.

One of the largest areas on the east side of Tosa, the challenge of connecting with residents requires the commitment of our neighbors. Only 19% of 2100 households become members of TETNA. Our goal is to increase this number by 50 more families! Whether you can be an active participant or a supportive member, nurture the value of your neighborhood by contributing to TETNA! Membership in TETNA is more than a yearly trick-or-treat event. It’s an opportunity to reduce crime, increase our quality of life, unite in common goals, and effectively communicate to all residents.
