All we ask for is a little elbow grease and a group of willing neighbors to join us for the first annual “Clean & Green” along North Avenue hosted by the Tosa East Towne Neighborhood Association.

Volunteers should walk to their nearest North Avenue corner at 9:00AM with gardening/work gloves in order to weed out the cracks and pavers. Trash will be placed in provided black garbage bags and plant material in provided clear bags. The city will then pick up and dispose of the filled bags.

Are you concerned about the cost of energy in your home and the effect of your use on our community and environment? Consider assisting TETNA by developing a program to help members deal with these concerns. John Bahr, chairman of the Wauwatosa subcommittee on Home Energy Efficiency will be presenting at the June 8 association meeting. The energy committee is developing a neighborhood program to support the effort of residents to reduce their energy consumption. TETNA has been chosen as the ideal candidate to kickoff this new program. (more…)

Sixty homes participated in last year’s TETNA rummage event, and to carry on the tradition, TETNA expects another successful rummage day on Saturday, June 6. Neighbors have been collecting, organizing and pricing things they no longer need in hopes to earn a few dollars in the process.

Great reasons to join us for the TETNA Rummage:

It’s healthy: Walking the neighborhood is great exercise
It saves you money: Affordable deals help your bank account
