This Saturday, Kegian Fox, along with the help of other Boy Scouts, will be picking up the clothing bags that were distributed to area residents. If you did not recieve a bag, but would like to donate gently-used clothing items, please call Kegian at 771-6718. This project will help Kegian earn his Eagle Scout Badge.
Bring your kids and your wallet for great deals on gently used sporting goods like football gear, scooters and bikes all donated by your neighbors. While you’re there, learn more about the plans for our new pool, enjoy the music and food, visit with local sports mascots, and watch sports demonstrations. Sixty homes participated in last year’s TETNA rummage event, and to carry on the tradition, TETNA expects another successful rummage day on Saturday, June 6. Neighbors have been collecting, organizing and pricing things they no longer need in hopes to earn a few dollars in the process.
It’s healthy: Walking the neighborhood is great exercise
It saves you money: Affordable deals help your bank account
It’s good for the environment: Reduce, reuse and recycle

The following volunteer and sponsorship opportunities are needed for a successful TETNA rummage:
Yard Signs: We need neighbors who are willing to post yard signs advertising the TETNA rummage. We also are looking for a business who would be interested in sponsoring the yard signs.
Forms: We need participating homes to display rummage directories during the day of the rummage. We also are looking for a business who would sponsor the photocopies.

TETNA newsletters come out four times a year (February, May, July, and October). If you or someone you know is not getting newsletters, please contact your area representative. It is our goal to reach all homes in the Tosa East Towne Neighborhood Association.
Elections for officers and board members were held during the March 9th TETNA Annual Meeting. With the exception of Secretary, all officer positions were filled. Randy Hoyt, who served as Secretary since 2007, has decided to withdraw. We appreciate Randy’s service to our community and are looking for an individual to consider stepping up to fill his position. It is never too early to start cleaning your closets, de-cluttering your garage and re-organizing your basement! TETNA will hold its annual neighborhood-wide rummage sale on Saturday, June 6th.
The deadline for Rummage registration, is Saturday, May 30th—this will give us one week to create and distribute a database map for our shoppers! (more…)
